Who we are

What we collect

• Account data: your email address and a hashed password — or, if you use Sign in with Apple, the identifier Apple provides. We never see your Apple password.
• Game data: the display name and avatar you choose in each room, your points, streaks, and in-game actions (dares completed or skipped, purchases of dare packs, challenges, and similar events), shared with the other players in your room as part of the game.
• Device data: a push notification token for your device, if you allow notifications.
• Purchases: payments are processed entirely by Apple. We receive a signed confirmation of the transaction (product and transaction identifiers) — never your card or payment details.

What we do not do

• No advertising and no third-party trackers or analytics SDKs.
• We never sell your personal data, and we never share it with third parties for marketing.

Where your data lives

Our servers are hosted by Hostinger in the European Union. All connections between the app and our servers are encrypted (HTTPS).

How long we keep it

Until you delete your account. You can do that in the app at any time: Settings → My preferences → Delete account. Deletion permanently removes your email and login credentials, revokes your Sign in with Apple token, deletes your push notification tokens, and anonymizes your name and avatar in past games. Rooms you played in remain visible to the other players, without your identity.

Your rights

If you are in the EU/EEA, the GDPR gives you the right to access, correct, export, or erase your personal data. The in-app account deletion covers erasure; for anything else, email us at the address above and we will respond within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Age

DareGame is intended for adults (17+). Some dare content references alcohol; those dares are excluded for players who switch off drinking dares in their preferences.

If we change this policy, we will update this page. The date below always reflects the latest revision.
